Pentecost Retreat at l'Arche de Saint-Antoine - May 2024
Spiritual Awakening and Non-duality
with Swami Atmananda Udasin
Saint-Antoine-l’Abbaye (France)
17 – 20 May 2024
Presentation
Swami Atmananda proposes to deepen the theme of Spiritual Awakening in the Tradition of Advaita Vedanta. Awakening is Pure Presence. It is neither an experience nor a state, but simply the spontaneous and immediate Recognition of our true Nature, the Self. There is no awakened one, only Awakening is…
This Retreat, held during the Pentecost weekend, offers a powerful moment of integration between teachings and practice, and takes place largely in silence and contemplation.
In addition to the talks, the retreat-seminar will include two half-hour meditation sessions each day, preceded by an introduction by Swami Atmananda Udasin, as well as a conscious walk and a time of mindfulness yoga.
Swami Atmananda Udasin is the Āchārya (spiritual director) of the Ajatananda Ashram, an interreligious ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India. After studying comparative religions and a long spiritual search, he met his master Sri Chandra Swami Udasin in India in 1990. He was then called to a hermit’s life for about 10 years. Since 1997, he has lived in India where he teaches, since 2012, the Direct Path of Non-Duality in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta and offers Satsangs and retreats in India and abroad.
